You can pull your numbers out of Budget Bandit as CSV files from the reports. CSV opens in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any spreadsheet tool.

Export a report to CSV

Every report has an Export CSV button. The file contains exactly the rows the report is showing, including whatever filters you have applied.
1

Open Reports and pick a report

For example, Spending, Income, Cash Flow, or Net Worth.
2

Set the date range, accounts, and categories you want

The export matches what is on screen, so filter first. See Filtering reports.
3

Choose Export CSV

The file downloads to your device.
To export your transactions, open a report that lists them at the level of detail you need — the Spending report broken out by transaction, for instance — set the date range to cover everything, and export. For a full transaction history, set the range wide.

Want a full copy of everything

The in-app CSV export is per report. There is no single button that bundles every budget, account, and transaction into one archive. If you need a complete export of all your data — for example before closing your account or to move to another tool — contact support and we will help you get a full copy. See Contact support.
Moving to or from another budgeting app? Budget Bandit imports from YNAB, Monarch, Actual, CSV, and OFX/QFX. See Import overview. Every import creates a new budget; it never overwrites an existing one.
