You can delete your account yourself from Settings. Deletion is final after a 30-day grace period, and there is a recovery link in case you change your mind.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes everything tied to it:
  • Your budgets
  • Your transactions
  • Your accounts
  • Your schedules and rules
  • Your profile and sign-in
Any active subscription is cancelled immediately as part of the request. If you are the only member of a workspace, that workspace’s subscription is cancelled. Subscriptions on workspaces you share with other people are left running for the remaining members.

How to delete

1

Open Settings, then Account

Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom.
2

Choose Delete account

A confirmation dialog opens.
3

Type your email to confirm

You must type the exact email address on your account. This guards against an accidental click.
4

Confirm the deletion

If you have two-factor authentication on, you are asked for a code first. Then the request is scheduled and you are signed out.

The 30-day recovery window

Your data is not destroyed the moment you confirm. Instead:
  • Your account is locked right away, so no one can sign in.
  • We email you a recovery link.
  • Your data is held for 30 days.
  • If you click the recovery link within 30 days, your account is restored.
  • If you do nothing for 30 days, all of your data is permanently deleted.
After the 30-day window passes, deletion cannot be undone. There is no way to recover the data once it is purged.

Cancel versus delete

If you only want to stop paying, cancel your subscription instead — your data stays and you can come back. See Manage your subscription. Deletion is for when you want the account and data gone.

Before you go

If you want a copy of your numbers first, export them. See Export your data.

If something looks wrong

If you did not get the recovery email or cannot complete the deletion, see Contact support.

Export your data

Pull your numbers out before you leave.

Manage your subscription

Cancel instead of delete.
