# Plans and pricing

> Budget Bandit is one plan, Plus, billed monthly or yearly, with a full-access trial to start.

Budget Bandit has one paid plan: Plus. There is no stripped-down free tier and no
upgrade ladder to climb. You start on a trial with full access, then subscribe to Plus
to keep your data.

## What Plus costs

Plus is billed either monthly or yearly. Yearly is the same plan paid once a year, and it
costs less per month than paying monthly. The current price for each option is shown at
checkout and on the billing screen under Settings before you confirm.

You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time from the billing portal — see
[Manage your subscription](/account/manage-subscription).

## What is included

Plus is the whole app. Nothing in this documentation is gated behind a higher tier.

* Unlimited accounts and budgets
* Unlimited household members
* Automatic bank sync through Plaid
* Transaction rules and auto-categorization
* Targets and goals on every category
* All reports, plus CSV export
* Debt payoff dashboard
* Full REST API access
* Support over in-app chat

## The trial

New accounts start with a full-access trial. During the trial you have every Plus
feature with no card required to look around. When the trial ends, subscribe to Plus to
keep using the app and keep your data. Your budgets, transactions, and accounts are not
deleted when a trial lapses — they wait for you to subscribe.

  Your trial end date is shown on the billing screen under Settings. Subscribe before it
  passes to avoid losing access to edits.
